If you're like me, you can't wait until the 2020 football season starts. However, it looks like there is discontent in the ranks from some of the league's biggest stars. The NFL Players Association says 72 players have tested positive for the coronavirus, as of last week.

That number might be acceptable if everyone in the league had been tested because that's roughly 2.5% of the league's players. But according to ESPN, the percentage of players tested is, "not a very large number."

For some context, the CDC says nearly 4.3 million positive tests have been reported in the U.S., and if those are separate people, that's about 1.3% of the population. But like in the NFL, the number of Americans who have actually been tested is pretty small.

J.J. Watt of the Houston Texans is frustrated with how the players are being kept in the dark, even though rookies start reporting to camp tomorrow.

He added that they don't know how testing will work, and they don't know how positive COVID-19 tests will affect rosters, contracts, and workouts.
