While it's not the third LSU national championship most of us in Louisiana were hoping for *ahem,* we'll take it!

A lot of people were talking about how good things come in threes in 2023 with regard to LSU. In fact, the Tiger faithful were praying the 2nd year LSU Football coach Brian Kelly would follow in the footsteps of LSU Women's Basketball Coach Kim Mulkey and LSU Baseball Coach Jay Johnson, who both brought home national titles in their second season. Unfortunately, that didn't happen, BUT LSU did kick off the new year with a new national championship!

Which LSU team brought home the first national championship of 2024?

LSU's Tiger Girls now hold ANOTHER national title! They took first place at the UDA College Nationals for their hip-hop routine set to Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal. Check this out!

It gave you chill bumps, didn't it? So we netted these two national championships within the last 12 months...

And now we have this national championship! (Why do I feel like I'm watching a real-life version of Bring It On?)

Oh, and in case you missed it, while the LSU Tiger Girls won the national title in hip-hop, the scored third in the nation with their jazz routine!

And people wonder why here in Louisiana we say that we 'Love Purple, Live Gold.' As they like to say in the SEC, it's just different here!
