It was incredibly easy to tell in his nomination letter about Jessica, that he's in awe of the Christian spirit and willingness to serve that Jessica displays daily.

And it's that selfless dedication to others that made Jessica such an easy choice as this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

My wife Jessica volunteers a ton of hours as the market manager for the Blanchard Market. She spends countless hours to make sure the show goes off without a hitch. She was a substitute teacher at Parkway High School where the kids loved having her. Kids are her passion. She left Parkway to be an Assistant Director at Trinity Heights Day Care. She plans activities to keep the kids busy all year long. Age 3 and up is what she is over. She takes our own money and buys supplies and treats for the kids. Did I mention she does all this and keeps me and our 8 year old in line to make sure we have what we need and never without anything. We’ve attended Simple Church for about 7 years. She is there Sunday mornings greeting any and everyone coming to church. We volunteer for a lot of projects with the church as well. Overall she has a giant heart of gold and doesn’t get much recognition for the things she does. From the time she gets up early in the morning til time to go to bed, she is nonstop and will give her kids or her teachers the shirt off her back.
