Michael Guerrero Is Latest Caught in the Act Recipient
Michael Guerrero, aka "Coach G", spends the lion share of his days with sweaty, stinky, young athletes, but it's the gift of faith he gives them that make him an inspiration to so many.

Samilyn Bennett explained to us in Michael's nomination letter that as the wrestling coach at Evangel Christian Academy, Michael pours his heart, soul and faith into these young athletes and they are eternally better for it.
It's Michael's loving spirit and his willingness to go the extra mile for these students that made him an easy selection as this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.
Just take a look at that nomination letter and you'll completely understand why.
It is my great honor to tell you about Coach Michael Guerrero. Coach Guerrero is more than just a wrestling coach at Evangel Christian Academy—he is a true servant leader whose heart for the students is nothing short of extraordinary. Coach Guerrero treats every student as if they were his own. His compassion and dedication extend far beyond the wrestling mat. He often buys lunches for students in need, offering not just nourishment but dignity and care. He goes out of his way to schedule one-on-one practices, ensuring each wrestler has the opportunity to grow in skill, confidence, and character. But perhaps most powerfully, Coach Guerrero is a spiritual pillar in the Evangel community. He faithfully prays over every child in the school, lifting them up with genuine love and concern. His presence is a daily reminder of Christ-like service and compassion, and he inspires those around him to lead with the same humility and heart. Coach Guerrero doesn’t just coach athletes—he molds young men and women into strong, respectful, and faith-filled individuals. His acts of kindness may not always make headlines, but they are felt deeply and remembered for a lifetime. He truly deserves to be recognized for the countless ways he pours into the lives of these students. I can think of no one more deserving of the "Caught in the Act" award than Coach Michael Guerrero.
