Mudbugs Hockey General Manager Scott Muscutt talks about self-improvement and goals for the new year and the best ways to achieve them.

Muscutt begins by questioning the logic of the New Year's resolution. "My question is, 'Why wait?'" he says, "(So many) have lost sight of what they're really living for. COVID is doing that to us if we let it. We've gone from this is what I do, this is who I am, this is how I live to, 'Oh, man. I don't want to die.'"

Then he continues talking to - and motivating - those whose lives are in "the COVID funk" with a reference to the movie "The Shawshank redemption."

"In the end," Muscutt says, "The only difference between 'get busy living or get bust dying' is seeing what you want to be  and attacking it every day. That's living! Dying is, 'I don't really know what I'm doing here. I know what I don't want and I'm going to try to avoid it.'"

Here are Parts 1 and 2 of this amazing Muscutt interview.
