Iconic University Celebrates Centennial

Excitement is abound as 2012 will be a year of celebration for East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, as the school marks its centennial year. 

Dr. Samuel "Dub" Oliver is president of the university, and says "It's a phenomenal opportunity, both as a university and a community and as a community, to celebrate to celebrate all that has been, God's faithfulness, and really a celebration of all who have given so much to see the institution grow and become all it is now."

Oliver says the school will be scheduling dozens of activities and events to celebrate the milestone.
