High-Speed Chase Through Shreveport Neighborhood Leads to Arrest
SHREVEPORT, LA- Shreveport Police Arrest Man After Chase Ends in Crash
On May 29 at approximately 5:45 p.m., Shreveport Police officers attempted a traffic stop at the intersection of College Street and Gilbert Drive due to observed violations. The driver of the vehicle, identified as 23-year-old Antonio Fuller, refused to comply and led officers on a pursuit through the Highland neighborhood.
The chase concluded when the vehicle crashed at Kings Highway and Youree Drive. Antonio Fuller was taken into custody at the scene by Shreveport Police K9 officers. He has been arrested and charged with one count of aggravated flight from an officer and one count of possession of a Schedule I narcotic.
Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in this incident.
Suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
