Rusty Scarborough from Blanchard's Walter B. Jacobs Memorial Nature Park talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about their upcoming "Bugs, Bats and Bones" Halloween program.

This year's fun, scheduled for Saturday night, October 27 at the park at 8012 Blanchard-Furrh Road, will feature night hikes, an insect hunt, arts and crafts, storytime, live animals and much more. This year's celebration will once again also presents "Cafe Insecta", where everyone will have the opportunity to try a number of dishes made from recipes including a variety of insects. Mealworm cookies, chocolate covered crickets and "beans and yikes," a new take on the traditional Cajun beans and rice, also made with mealworms.

KEEL's Erin McCarty, always braver than morning co-host Robert J Wright or producer Matt Parker, chomped down on a number of samples brought to the studio by Scarborough.
