Governor to Give Shelter in Place Order
Governor John Bel Edwards is about to address the COVID-19 outbreak in Louisiana. Many Louisiana lawmakers have confirmed the Governor is about to issue a 'Shelter in Place' order to help stop the spread.
All public schools and many businesses like bars and gyms were already closed by previous executive orders, but Sunday's order will expand the closures. The new order will go into effect at 5 pm Monday.
