A line of strong storms Saturday created five, high powered tornadoes that caused major damage across the state. One of the hardest hit areas was Plain Dealing in Bossier Parish.

An F-2 twister hit the area: uprooting trees, tearing down power lines and causing severe damage to at least 25 homes. Luckily, no was killed or seriously injured during the storms. Bossier Parish Sheriff Julian Whittington says it is a miracle only 3 people sustained injuries during the devastating event.
