Emergency Drill Planned For Haughton Area

The Bossier Office of Homeland Security will be conducting an emergency drill, and they are asking the public to not be alarmed.

It will be happening the evening of Thursday, July 28th. According to a press release from the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office, residents are expected to see a number of emergency vehicles near a Haughton church.

The Bossier Office of Homeland Security is conducting an exercise in conjunction with Town of Haughton and other first responders Thursday evening at First Baptist Church, located at 105 E. Washington in Haughton. If residents see a large number of emergency response vehicles on or near the church facility Thursday afternoon to please not be alarmed…it’s only a drill.
