Louisiana Downs Racetrack and Casino will honor the men and women who protect and serve our communities with a free meal on Monday, October 28, 2024 from 12pm – 6pm.

Louisiana Downs will provide a free country-fried steak meal to all active-duty first responders at the track’s Inside Rail restaurant. If active-duty first responders would prefer a meal other than the country-fried steak, they will receive a 30% discount on that menu item. They must present proof of service or be in uniform to receive the free meal or discount. Each first responder can only receive one free or discounted meal.

“This is a small gesture from us to say thank you for all they do,” said Louisiana Downs President Kevin Preston. “Every day, they put their lives on the line to make sure we are safe.”
