Elton John Shows in Dallas, Texas Are Postponed
No shows for Elton John in Dallas this week. The legendary singer has tested positive for COVID-19, forcing him to delay two Texas shows. Elton had shows set for the American Airlines Center on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, but both have been scratched. The venue posted an update saying Elton John is fully vaccinated and boosted, but still contracted the virus. Reports indicate his symptoms have been mild, so far.
This news comes just 3 dates after he resumed his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour. The Dallas shows this week were already postponed from 2020, but were delayed because of the pandemic.
Now fans will have to wait even longer. No new dates have been set for the Dallas shows.
Fans in New Orleans got to see Elton when he performed at the Smoothie King Center on January 19.
If you have a ticket to one of these delayed shows, you should hold on to them because the shows are expected to be rescheduled and your tickets will be honored at the new show dates.
Many more cities are included on John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, including Chicago, Detroit, New York City, and other international stops.
Here are the next dates on this scheduled tour:
January 29 in North Little Rock.
January 30 in Oklahoma City.
