Domestic Incident in Shreveport Leads to Felony Firearm Arrest
SHREVEPORT, LA- Convicted felon apprehended with firearm in domestic incident
On February 11th, at approximately 1:30 P.M., Shreveport Police Patrol Officers responded to a report of an armed individual in the 6100 block of Tierra Drive. Upon arrival, officers encountered 30-year-old Marquise Lyod, who was reportedly engaged in a dispute with a family member.
Following a thorough investigation, it was determined that Llyod, a convicted felon, was unlawfully in possession of a firearm. Consequently, Marquise Lyod was promptly taken into custody and has been charged with one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and one count of aggravated assault with a firearm. No injuries were reported.
