Crime Stoppers And Lamar Advertising Team Up To Help Solve Monica Harris’ Murder

Shreveport-Caddo Crime Stoppers and Lamar Outdoor Advertising introduced a billboard campaign to solicit tips for the murder of Monica Harris.

Ten years have passed since the August 30, 2003 murder and Crime Stoppers is looking to get tips from residents or visitors who may have been afraid to speak up ten years ago or are back in town after being away.

Shreveport-Caddo Crime Stoppers Director Jim Taliaferro says his program will try to highlight anniversaries of some of the area's cold cases.  He says some date back to the 1940s.

Lamar General Manager Joe Kane says the billboard will run on the digital boards over the weekend and on static boards afterward.
