Shreveport City Councilwoman LeVette Fuller talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about reaction to her proposed legislation to repeal the city's "saggy pants" ordinance.

Fuller had previously told KEEL listeners that she opposes the statute from a libertarian point of view and that she feels that "it targets a specific subculture." Fuller also talks about the listeners - and constituent - response to to proposal.

Shreveport Police Chief Ben Raymond talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about Councilwoman LeVette Fuller's move to have the council act to repeal the city's "saggy pants" ordinance. The Chief admits that enforcement of the law "is utilized as part of our proactive policing approach."

Raymond also declined to give his personal opinion regarding the ordinance, but underlined that "if it's a law, we enforce it as appropriate using common sense."
