The group 'Arkansas Wins in 2016' has sent a proposal to the Arkansas Attorney General's office to bring casinos to the state. The group hopes to have the issue on the November ballot. If approved by the AG, the group would need 85 thousand signatures from 15 counties before July.

Arkansas Wins spokesperson, Robert Coon, says the people of Arkansas are pretty open minded and that most people realize the move would generate tons of revenue for the state. Many detractors to the movement say the casinos here in Shreveport are close enough and that they don't need to build them in their community.
