The investigation began after management at Citi Trends, located in the 3700 block of Jewella Avenue, reported significant financial discrepancies. According to authorities, the thefts occurred over a two-month period during November and December of 2025. An internal audit conducted by the business revealed that thousands of dollars were missing from the location’s accounts.
