"The Shreveport chamber of commerce thinks Mayor Perkins' $220 million bond package is too much and has asked the mayor and the council to consider paring it back. Chamber leaders are urging them to only include essential capital projects and one or two quality of life improvements. On Wednesday, Chamber President Tim Magner met with Perkins Wednesday to discuss possible changes to the bond package."
