Cassidy: Media Coverage of al-Baghdadi Death Confirms Leftist Bias [VIDEO]
United States Senator Bill Cassidy talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about the recent killing of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi by US Special Forces and coverage by the mainstream media.
Cassidy tells KEEL listeners, "They (the media) don't want the President to get any credit, whatsoever. Even if the President does something, for example, (order) the death of of someone personally responsible for the rape and murder of an American woman,...it's a little bit of 'okay, but.' If there's anything that's American, it's taking care of our enemies in a way that's retribution for the killing they've done."
The Senator also comments on the coverage of the mission by the Washington Post, which described the terrorist leader as "an austere religious scholar."
"They have become part of the resistance," says Cassidy, "If we had any doubt."
