The LSU golf team looks to be in pretty good shape, for the near future, at least. The Tigers signed Calvary's Sam Burns and Nathan Jeansonne, the area's top two high school golfers, in ceremonies at the school Wednesday. Both committed to LSU last fall.

Burns is number one in the international junior rankings after winning the 2014 Junior PGA and was named Rolex Junior Player of the Year. This summer he played on the winning U.S. Junior Ryder Cup team. he is also the No. 12-ranked amateur in the world.

Jeansonne is ranked number 15 in the international rankings and joined Burns a part of Calvary's state championship squad.
