Two separate drug investigations in Caddo Parish this past week leave 14 people behind bars.

A six-month investigation wrapped up Friday after Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Task Force agents arrested 45-year-old Jason Shinall of Joaquin, Texas, for distributing large amounts of ICE in the Caddo Parish Area. He was arrested at a west Shreveport hotel with over a pound of the drug in his possession.

During the operation, agents seized 845 grams of meth valued at $100,000, over 200 grams of high-grade marijuana, $13,000 in cash and several firearms.

Shinall was charged with possession with intent to distribute Schedule II drugs, and possession of Schedule III and IV drugs. Five other suspects were also arrested on a variety of charges -- 36-year-old Shannon Lansing of Keithville, 32-year-old Ashley Snell of Youngville, 42-year-old Tammy Scott of Shreveport, 36-year-old William Morrison of Shreveport, 35-year-old Devon McVay of Shreveport. Agents also have an arrest warrant for 57-year-old Brad Marshall of Shreveport.

The other case was an undercover operation throughout Shreveport, after agents received numerous complaints of open-air drug sales. Agents posed as drug users and purchased from sellers on the street. Eight people were arrested for selling crack cocaine, marijuana and pills:
