Mayor Lo Walker talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert and Erin about the property tax increase coming to Bossier City. Hizzoner explains why it is necessary and the problems that will be avoided because of its implementation.

Walker explains that property values for the parish have been lowered and that "we have no choice to adjust because we can't have a budget deficit." The mayor also terms the increase "minor", saying that because of the average value of Bossier City homes, most homeowners will see an increase of about $6.55 per year.
