Bossier City Police Plan Checkpoint

As the statewide "Click It or Ticket" campaign reaches the mid-point of its first week, the Bossier City Police Department is planning to set up a safety checkpoint. We don't know when -- other than it will be some time today -- and we don't know where -- other that it will be a location north of I-20. Officers will be looking for motorists who aren't wearing their seat belts and/or who don't have children placed in required safety restraint system. The Click It or Ticket campaign is funded by a grant from the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission and runs through June 3rd.
