Indecent Behavior With a Juvenile Leads to Arrest in Shreveport

The Shreveport Police Department has arrested a woman following an investigation into allegations of an inappropriate relationship with a juvenile.

During the investigation, detectives determined that the juvenile victim had been involved in an inappropriate relationship with the 37 year-old Gia Elie. Investigators conducted two forensic interviews at the Gingerbread House Children’s Advocacy Center, which provided critical information supporting the case.

Detectives also recovered inappropriate text messages and photographs exchanged between Elie and the juvenile victim.

As a result of the investigation, arrest warrants were obtained charging Elie with one count of Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile.
