The Bossier Chamber of Commerce has honored several local heroes with Patriot Awards. A couple of local businesses are also given awards.

Patriot Awards

Congratulations today to Car Max in Shreveport and the Owner Dallas Owen. Also honored is Two Oaks Storage in Haughton and the owner Loyd Dodson.

Several local first responders were also honored during the luncheon.

  • Law Enforcement: Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office Deputy Robert Thompson
  • 2018 Caddo Parish Patriot: The Shreveport Police Department team of Corporal Jesse Alexander, Officer Jason Booze, Officer Darrell Favis, Officer David Francis, Corporal Christopher Hodges, Officer LeAnn Hodges, Sergeant Michael Jones, Officer Roderick Lewis, Sergeant Daniel Sawyer, Corporal Rodney Stewart.
  • Fire Protection: Barksdale Station Chief Adam Lynch
  • Emergency Communications: Stephanie Stevens of the Bossier City Police Communications
  • Reserve/Guard Military: Master Sergeant Dennis Varnado of the U.S. Air Force
  • Active Duty Military: Senior Master Sergeant Courtenay Sartain of the U.S. Air Force
