Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about the great opportunities for Louisiana folks to spend their vacations close to home and how food across the state is second to none.

Nungesser, who was overwhelmingly reelected to a second term in November, touts not only New Orleans as a vacation destination, but Natchitoches, Ruston, Monroe and especially the Shreveport, Bossier City area.

The Plaquemines Parish native also praises the latest innovations by the multitude of famous Louisiana chefs, particularly highly praised native son John Folse and his newest New Orleans eatery, Revolution's.

Nungesser is visiting the ArkLaTex for a number of speaking engagements, including a Thursday date at the Shreveport Lions Club.
