Louisiana Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser tells 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty that "it's important I speak my mind, when it's appropriate" on controversial issues affecting the state and its citizens.

Nungesser, who has been outspoken in voicing his opinions on topics including the removal of Confederate monuments and NFL players refusing to stand for the National Anthem, says that these issues "are politically motivated" and the state has for more serious problems.
