The actual Bonnie and Clyde death car is on display at the Primm Valley Resort & Casino in Primm, Nevada. The Gibsland Museum has a replica of the car.

The car is a 1934 Ford Model 40 B Fordor Deluxe sedan. That particular model car was faster than most police cars at that time, making it the perfect getaway for the bandit lovers.

Bonnie and Clyde were gunned down during an ambush on May 23, 1934. This ambush happened on Louisiana State Highway 154. An associate of the couple, Ivy Methvin agreed to help the posse and he was told to park his truck on the road and pretend to change a tire. The couple slowed down to help Ivy. The goal was to catch them alive, but that plan changed when a logging truck came barreling through and one deputy opened fire. Others followed suit.

Bonnie and Clyde’s car was shot more than 110 times.

Bonnie and Clyde are buried in Dallas, Texas. Bonnie is buried in Crown Hill Memorial Park, Clyde’s grave is in the Western Heights Cemetery.
