You are probably going to welcome family and friends for the holidays over the next few weeks. The home cooked meals will be great with the turkey dinners and all the sides. But during your visits with family, you might want to take them out for a nice dinner at one of the best restaurants in Shreveport Bossier.
What Are Some of the Big Events Coming Up?
Of course, we have Thanksgiving coming up on November 25 and that will bring lots of visitors to town to spend time with family, but they probably will not want leftover turkey after the big family get together. Many guests will probably want some great Louisiana food, especially if they are from out of state.
Another big week for visitors will be on Saturday, December 18 when thousands will be in town for the Independence Bowl. These folks will be coming from all over the country to root on their favorite team. But you can bet they will want to try some gumbo, etouffee, or other Louisiana specialties while they are in town.
The other big week for guests in Shreveport Bossier is Christmas week. Christmas is a Saturday this year and families will gather on that day for a great family meal, but the day after Christmas will probably be a big day for dining out in our area.
