A Natchitoches Parish man wanted for allegedly attacking a woman earlier this month is now behind bars. Just after 5 o'clock last evening, 34-year-old Calvin Ray Moss surrendered himself to Shreveport police investigators. He was booked into the Shreveport City Jail on an outstanding warrant charging him with one count of second-degree battery. His bond is set at $150,000. The charge stems from an early-morning incident on July 10th, when Moss allegedly cut off a woman in traffic and, after breaking out her driver's side window, beat her in the head and face with some type of metal object. The victim, who had been involved in a brief relationship with Moss some time ago, suffered a severe laceration over her right eye.
