Barksdale Airmen Return After Training Excercise

The 2nd Bomb Wing from Barksdale Air Force Base returned Monday after completing a training exercise designed to test the force's long range global strike capabilities. The 20 plus hour drill saw the B52 bombers fly from Nellie Air Force Base in Neveda to the Baltic Sea and through the English Channel.

During the mission, the Airmen completed the exercise with other Air Force Bases as well as allies from Canada and the Baltic.
