School starts again soon...so it's time to be thinking about getting the kiddos vaccinated. Shots for Tots and the Shreveport-Bossier Captains are hosting a "Back to School Bash" this Friday at Fairgrounds Field...to emphasize the need for childhood immunizations before the start of the school year. The bash features face painting, clowns, balloon art, mascots and the Shots for Tots Mobile Unit, which will be on site providing shots from 1 to 5 p.m. Any child ages 4 through 12 who is immunized -- or who has an updated shots record -- gets two free tickets to see the Captains play the Amarillo Sox in an American Association baseball game at 7:05 that evening. There are other freebies, as well. Visit Willis-Knighton's website for more info.
