Are ‘Rage Rooms’ Mentally Unhealthy or Even Dangerous? [VIDEO]
Dr. Elizabeth Disbrow from LSU Health Shreveport talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright about "rage rooms" and whether violence, even in a controlled setting, is mentally healthy.
The Disbrow visit stemmed from a KEEL morning show conversation earlier this week, when RJW called rage rooms "violence porn,' meaning violence, like pornography, can psychologically "rewire" the participant or user without their being aware.
After giving her opinion on the trend, Disbrow, who is Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology and Director of the Center for Brain Health, tells KEEL listeners what she'd do if she were invited to a rage room by a group of friends.
