Hiring Date Announced for Shreveport Amazon Plant Jobs

We now have the hiring date for the Amazon Fulfillment Center in Shreveport. The company will start by hiring between 150 and 300 workers to staff the local facility.

Once you set Shreveport as your location, you will be asked what hours you want to work, what shift you would prefer and whether or not you want to work full time or part time. You will then see the list of jobs available.

What Do These Jobs Pay?

Starting pay at the Shreveport Amazon Plant will be $17 dollars an hour, but many workers will make well above that, depending on duties at the plant.

Amazon has a wide variety of benefits available for workers. One of the most attractive benefit is the tuition option. They have a direct tuition plan which will pay for higher education after you have worked for the company for 90 days. You also have the option to work a four day work week at Amazon. You can also work a flex shift based on your schedule. Benefits kick in on day one at Amazon.

To get hired at Amazon, you do not have to show up for an interview and you do not need to submit a resume. No high school diploma is required. Amazon will train all workers to handle the various jobs in the plant.

Amazon also has many accommodations for the disabled community and older folks to work in the facility.

When Will Hiring Start at Shreveport Amazon Plant?

The jobs at the Shreveport Amazon facility will be posted on the Amazon jobs page on Friday July 5 at 7pm. This will be round one of the hiring for the plant. The second round is expected to start shortly after that.

What Kind of Hours Will You Work?

Amazon has several options to fit your schedule. Part time jobs are available. You can also work a flex shift. They also have a four day work week available if you would rather work a 10 hour day for 4 days a week.

Amazon employees are paid weekly.
