Shreveport’s Downtown Airport gets a special treat tomorrow. The Experimental Aircraft Association, Chapter 343, based here in Shreveport, is hosting the Wings Over the Red Fly-In and Airport Open House at the airport from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. tomorrow. The event will feature six general aviation aircraft and pilots who will fly Young Eagles aviation students on short flights around the Downtown Airport area. An A-10 plane from Barksdale will be flown over and parked for display, along with vintage aircraft belonging to airport tenants. And the Commemorative Air Force is also scheduled to bring small war birds including L-2, L-3 and L-4 for viewing.
