A-10 Squadron Redies for Deployment

A Barksdale-based A-10 squadron is preparing to deploy to Afghanistan. So, for the next few days, you may see an increase in A-10 activity around the base. Our neighbors to the north will see increased activity, too, around the Anne Military Operations Area in south Arkansas. the Training exercises are planned from two until eight p-m tomorrow, Wednesday, and Thursday. The A-10s belong to Barksdale's 47th Fighter Squadron.
