It's been a long, wild ride for Shreveport's Cole Vosbury. The singer made it all the way to the final 5 on 'The Voice,' but on Tuesday, Dec. 10, that journey ended. Vosbury was eliminated in the semifinals.

The shocking exits of Vosbury and James Wolpert leaves Tessanne Chin, Jaquie Lee and Will Champlin as the final three contestants on season 5. Next week will be the season's finale, taking place on Dec. 16 and 17.

Hours before his elimination, Vosbury took to Twitter to thank all his fans for their support. "To all my fans, thank you so much for all your love and support," he said. "With only 3 spots open, prepared for anything."

You could tell it was an emotional moment as Carson Daly brought Vosbury and Will Champlin on the stage to determine the last finalist -- and who would end their run on 'The Voice.'

While the bearded and soulful singer won't continue on to the finals next week, we have a feeling this isn't the end for Vosbury.

He's scheduled to sing The National Anthem at the 2013 AdvoCare V100 bowl on Dec. 31. We can't wait to see Shreveport give him a grand 'welcome home.'

Watch Vosbury's final performance on 'The Voice' -- 'The Best Day of My Life' with James Wolpert, Tessanne Chin, Jaquie Lee and Will Champlin.
