The Northwest Louisiana Master Gardeners present Mary Lou McFarland at

the Barnwell Center, 601 Clyde Fant, in downtown Shreveport, on Tuesday

September 27th from 10 AM until noon.

Mary Lou McFarland, is a Master Gardener who specializes in self-sustaining

bulb gardens. She has taught classes on bulbs for the Northeast Master Gardeners

Landscaping Classes and is a sought-after speaker by garden clubs and luncheon groups

for her talks and knowledge of daffodils.

Having lived in both north and south Louisiana, Mary Lou is keenly aware of the different requirements and the endless possibilities

in both areas of Louisiana. The thousands of Daffodils on her 50 acres in Downsville, Louisiana has earned her the nickname of

“The Daffodil Lady.”

Admission to this NWLA Master Gardeners seminar is absolutely free, and all are

welcome. Make plans to attend the Mary Lou McFarland seminar at the Barnwell Center,

Tuesday September 27th from 10 a.m. until noon.
