Texarkana, Arkansas, city officials have hired a new city manager.  But, no introductions are necessary.  They are bringing in the old city manager.

Council members decided to rehire Harold Boldt after approving a $162,000 severance package two months ago.

The city council voted 4-2 in favor of bringing Boldt back.  Supporters want him to finish the work he left on the table when a resident alleged he was too close to economic development projects.

Oppenents argued it was time to move on.

No word yet on what will happen with the severance package.
