SHREVEPORT, LA-   Shreveport Police Arrest Three Men with Illegal Firearms

The Shreveport Police Department announces the arrest of three individuals in connection with illegal firearms possession. Responding to a shots-fired call in the 6800 block of West Canal Boulevard, patrol officers swiftly acted, detaining a homeowner in the 2900 block of Sunset Circle after discovering shell casings in the driveway.

Upon further investigation, it was revealed that multiple occupants were hiding inside the residence. The Violent Crimes Abatement Team (VCAT) was called to the scene to continue the operation. Subsequently, VCAT members secured and executed a search warrant for the property, leading to the discovery and confiscation of ammunition, magazines, and three firearms that had reportedly been unlawfully modified to operate as fully automatic weapons.

The individuals arrested in connection with this incident are:

19-year-old Thaddeus James

18-year-old Sekory James

17-year-old Kedrick White

They have been charged with possession and handling of a machine gun, as well as illegal use of a weapon. The seized firearms will serve as crucial evidence in the ongoing investigation.
