I told you earlier in the week about Caddo Sheriff's Safety Town being a drop-off point for your unused or unwanted prescription meds, now Shreveport Police Chief Willie Shaw has announced that his department will join together with other local law enforcement agencies to participate in the national "Take-Back" initiative for prescription medications to be held this weekend.
Caddo Sheriff To Participate In National Drug Take-Back Day
Citizen's can dispose of unwanted prescription drugs this Saturday at Sheriff's Safety Town as part of National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
Local law enforcement agencies across the country will be working in co-operation with the DEA to set up collection sites for old, unwanted, and expired pharmaceutical controlled substances and other medications.
