Shreveport's David Toms entered the final round at the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial tied for the lead, but shot a final round 70 and finished in a tie for third.

Toms' even par round left him two shots behind eventual winner Adam Scott and jason Dufner, who both finished at -9. Scott took the title with a birdie on the third playoff hole.

The 47 year old major championship winner had four birdies and four bogeys for the day, played at the historic Ft. Worth course, made famous by one of golf's greatest names, Ben Hogan. Toms had previously won at Colonial in 2011.
