SHREVEPORT, LA-   Shreveport Police make an arrest in 2020 Stabbing incident

The Shreveport Police Department arrested 30-year-old Jerriann Davis in connection with a stabbing incident that took place on September 6, 2020, in the 1800 block of Acorn Street.

Following the initial incident, warrants were issued for Davis's arrest. The Shreveport Police Warrant Unit, in collaboration with the Shreveport City Marshals Office, successfully apprehended Davis on December 5, 2023.

Davis has been charged with one count of second-degree aggravated battery. The victim, who suffered stab wounds during the incident, received medical treatment and has since recovered.

We appreciate the diligence of our officers and partner agencies in bringing this case to a resolution.

We are required to advise that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
