A Shreveport man faces numerous charges in connection with a string of property crimes committed over a period of nearly three months.

After a months-long investigation, Shreveport police have arrested 35-year-old Glenn Young, Jr., after he was linked to burglaries of at least eight different properties across Shreveport. He's been tied to three burglaries in the 200 block of Wall Street from January and February, two last December in the 1300 block of Shreveport-Barksdale Highway, one in the 1000 block of Highland and the 3300 block of Youree Drive, and an attempted burglary in the 2800 block of West Cavett.

Many of the items stolen during the burglaries have been recovered. Young has been booked into Caddo Correctional Center on all the charges.
