Senior Service Program Looking for Outstanding Louisiana Senior Volunteers

The search is on...for Louisiana's outstanding senior volunteers. The Salute to Senior Service Program -- sponsored by Home Instead Senior Care -- recognizes these volunteers for the many contributions they make in their local communities.

You're encouraged to nominate someone you deem worthy. Those will be accepted from February 1st through March 31st. The winner in each state gets $500, and one national winner gets $5,000 to donate to his or her charity of choice.

Nominees should be those 65 or older who volunteer at least 15 hours a month.  To nominate someone, or to find out more details, go to www.salutetoseniorservice.com and fill out the form there. You can also mail that form to P.O. Box 285, Bellevue, NE 68005.
