LSU Health-Shreveport to Teach Seniors Balance
The School of Allied Health Professions at LSU Health-Shreveport wants to help seniors maintain their balance.
So, once again, it will be offering a class for anybody over the age of 60 who’s concerned about maintaining good balance. It’s called “You Can Walk and Talk.” The class is designed to help seniors learn more about how to improve their balance and avoid falls.
The classes will be February 13th and 27th and March 13th and 27th from 10 am to noon each day. Classes will be held on the ground floor, conference room G-148, at the School of Allied Healtth in the LSU Health-Shreveport complex. Participants are urged to wear tennis shoes. The classes are free but space is limited. You can register by contacting Dr. Paula Fenter at 318-813-2943
