Sarah Palin: ‘Waterboarding Is How We’d Baptize Terrorists’ If I Were in Charge [Video]

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin told the crowd at an Indianapolis National Rifle Association rally how she would take care of terrorists if she was an elected official.

Palin drew raucous applause from the crowd when she said: "Well, if I were in charge, they would know that waterboarding is how we baptize terrorists."

Palin also called liberals "hypocrites." She later backtracked, saying “Not all intolerant anti-freedom leftist liberals are hypocrites," quickly adding, "I’m kidding. Yes, they are.”

Ironically, Sen. John McCain, who ran against Barack Obama in 2008 with Sarah Palin as his running-mate, is against the practice of waterboarding. McCain served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and was captured and tortured.
