Officers Placed on Leave

Shreveport Police Chief Willie Shaw has placed two of his officers on administrative leave this week — both for alleged policy violations. Probationary Officer Janica Allen was placed on leave yesterday. She’s been with the department since February of this year. Two days earlier, Chief Shaw placed Officer Donald Henry on leave. He’s been with the department since 2006. As is usually the case in situations like this, the department is not saying what the alleged policy violations were — only that they’re being investigated.
