More Than A Dozen People Arrested In Shreveport Drug Sting
More than a dozen people have been arrested in a Shreveport drug operation.
Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Task Force agents served a search warrant at a home in the 3000 block of Jackson Street in Shreveport. There, one felony arrest was made and nearly 11 grams of crack cocaine and two grams of suspected marijuana were seized. Agents say 24-year-old Gecolby Glasper was charged with possessing drugs with intent to distribute.
Investigators say the home was a high drug trafficking location frequented by buyers and users who went there for the illegal narcotics. A reverse sting operation was conducted to limit the buyer and user market from coming to the location. That resulted in the arrests of 12 others on possession charges, plus the seizure of more than 3-and-a-half grams of crack cocaine and $168 in cash.
